Accessible Seats / Wheelchair Space

Accessible seats and spaces for wheelchair seats are available for individual games. Fans purchasing accessible seats may purchase three additional seats adjacent to their wheelchair space. Depending on availability, seats for additional guests will be located as close as possible to the wheelchair space. These tickets may be purchased in advance by calling the ticket office at (502) 852-5151.

Season ticket holders having temporary disabilities may call the ticket office in advance to obtain temporary seating in the handicapped accessible space if needed.

Guests who need to exchange a non-accessible seat for a wheelchair space or accessible seats should call the ticket office in advance to arrange for their special needs. These exchanges will be made on a first call, first served basis and will depend on ticket availability. For more information call the ticket office at (502) 852-5151.

Accessible Shuttle Service

L&N Stadium provides golf carts throughout the stadium Bronze and Purple lots for patron assistance to and from the stadium for every home game. These golf carts will help fans with accessibility needs make the trip from the parking lot to the stadium gates. The carts are designed to transport One Customer and One Companion. Fans parking in any of the Planet Fitness lots should walk to the west drive lane, which runs parallel to the train tracks, to find the Accessibility Shuttle Service. Fans can find the golf carts at Gate 5 at the end of the game for transport back to their vehicle.

Alcohol Beverage Policy

Kentucky state law prohibits possession of alcoholic beverages by those under 21 years of age, unauthorized distribution of alcohol on any licensed premises, and public intoxication. Kentucky State Law KRS 222.202 states that a person is guilty of public intoxication when he/she appears to be in a public space manifestly under the influence of alcohol to the degree that he/she may endanger himself/herself or other persons or property, or unreasonably annoy persons in his/her vicinity. Public intoxication may result in the ejection from the facility and/or arrest.

Alcohol sales begin from the time the gates open until the end of the 3rd quarter. No alcoholic beverages will be served during the 4th quarter. A limit of two (2) alcoholic beverages may be purchased at a time. An individual must be 21 years of age to buy alcoholic beverages and proof of age is required. Everyone, regardless of age, must present a valid I.D for each alcohol purchase. Alcohol may not be brought into the stadium or taken out of the stadium. Fans attempting to smuggle alcohol into or out of the stadium will be subject to removal from the facility, loss of ticket privileges, and/or arrest.

Sections 104 and 204 of L&N Stadium are alcohol free. Consumption/sale/purchase of alcoholic beverages in these Sections is prohibited.

Bag Policy

The following list provides information on what size and types of bags will be allowed into UofL athletic facilities:

  • Bags that are clear plastic, vinyl or PVC and do not exceed 12″ x 6″ x 12. See visual guide.
  • One-gallon clear plastic freezer bag (Ziploc bag or similar).
  • Purses, billfolds, or clutches placed inside a clear bag will not be allowed in.
  • Patrons are encouraged to leave all items loose inside the clear bag for more efficient safe inspections.  Patrons with any bags found within a a clear bag will be asked to return it to their vehicle.
  • An exception will be made for medically necessary items and diaper bags after proper inspection at a gate designated for this purpose.
  • Working personnel, including media, will continue to enter U of L athletic facilities through designated gates where they will be subject to screening and bag inspections.

Banners, Signs and Flags

Banners and signs are authorized provided they are not commercial, offensive, or in poor taste. Banners and signs may not obstruct the view of any guests, stadium signage, or present any safety hazard. Flags of any shape or size are prohibited from being brought into the stadium. L&N Stadium requires prior permission to attach any banner or sign to any railing or wall inside the stadium.  L&N Stadium reserves the right to remove and/or confiscate any banner or sign for any reason.

Binoculars

Binoculars are permitted in the stadium, subject to inspection at all entrances. Binocular cases are not allowed per clear bag policy.

Cameras and Video Equipment

L&N Stadium has a strict use of camera policy. Only handheld, non-professional grade still cameras are allowed inside the stadium. Cameras should be able to easily fit into a purse or palm of a person’s hand. Absolutely no video equipment of any sort is permitted. Any fan who attempts to enter the stadium with a professional grade camera (any camera with a detachable lens) or video equipment will be denied entry into the stadium.

Code of Conduct

All L&N Stadium guests are expected to maintain reasonable and appropriate behavior at all times. L&N Stadium has a “Zero tolerance” policy for inappropriate fan behavior during all events. Any behavior defying code of conduct, as determined by facility management, can result in ejection from the facility, loss of ticket privileges, and/or arrest. Guests who are ejected from the facility will not receive a refund for the ticket(s) or be compensated in any way.

Inappropriate behavior includes, but is not limited to:

  • Smoking inside stadium premises (inside black fences)
  • Standing on seats
  • Standing in the aisles
  • Entering a seating area without the correct ticket
  • Drunk and/or disorderly conduct
  • Fighting or challenging others to fight
  • Entering the field of play without authorization
  • Interference with the event or its participants in any way
  • Throwing, kicking or discharging any object within the facility or onto the field.
  • Throwing or discharging any object off the upper concourse level, Norton Terrace, Angel’s Envy Bourbon Club inner concourse walkway or off the top deck seating on the East side of the stadium
  • Using profanity and/or other offensive, racial, obscene, or abusive gestures toward or in reference to players, coaches, referees, fans, performers, or other staff members
  • Wearing clothing displaying profane or offensive material
  • Use of artificial noise makers
  • Violation of any local, state or federal laws.

L&N Stadium is committed to the ideals of good sportsmanship. We ask all persons to show respect for the opposing team, visiting fans, game officials, and each other. Any guests in violation of the Code of Conduct are subject to ejection from the facility, loss of ticket privileges and/or criminal charges. Season ticket holders and suite holders are responsible for the actions of their guests. Ticket privileges may be revoked for patterns of fan misbehavior tied to those seats regardless of who is sitting in them when the incident occurs.

Covid 19

Current information regarding Covid 19 is as follows:

  • There are currently no Covid 19 restrictions in place.
  • At-Risk Patrons may wear masks for protection at their own discretion

Credit Cards

Credit cards are accepted at L&N Stadium. Credit cards may be used at the box office, merchandise stands, and most concessions. Accepted cards include Visa, Master Card, American Express, and Discover.

Customer Relations

Customer Relations Booths can be found at Sections 108, 120, 132, 241 & 308. Services offered at the Customer Relations include but are not limited to:

  • Giving general information assistance
  • Tag-A-Kid / At Risk Adult ID Program
  • Lost and found
  • Guest feedback forms
  • Family / Assisted restroom entry codes
  • Curtained area for mothers to breast feed their children within Customer Relations Booths located at Sections 108, 120 and 132.

Wheelchairs: Patrons with wheelchairs that are not assigned a seat in a specific wheelchair section should park their wheel chairs in the nearest wheelchair seating section and check it in with the volunteer usher where it will be stored during the event. The stadium does not recommend leaving wheelchairs unattended on the inner concourse during the event.

Deadly Weapons & Exceptions

Deadly weapons are prohibited on any property owned, leased, operated or controlled by the University, including but not limited to the following: classrooms, laboratories, residence halls, clinics, office buildings, performance halls, museums, athletics and recreation facilities, parking lots and structures, University owned vehicles, and all outdoor areas of any campus of the University. (See exceptions below)

In Kentucky Revised Statute §237.115, the Kentucky General Assembly explicitly recognizes the authority of the University of Louisville to control the possession of deadly weapons on any property owned, leased or controlled by the University, including the right to prohibit possession of such weapons by any person or entity using University property or premises. This establishes the University’s deadly weapons policy.

The following are exceptions to this policy:
Possession of a deadly weapon by persons who are specifically authorized* by KRS 527.020 to carry concealed deadly weapons on or about their persons at all times and at all locations within the Commonwealth. Such persons include but are not limited to: Commonwealth’s attorneys, judges of the Court of Justice, conservations officers of the Department of Fish and Wildlife, elected sheriffs, and peace officers from other jurisdictions.

* For a complete listing of persons authorized to carry concealed deadly weapons within the Commonwealth of Kentucky and the conditions for which the carrying of the deadly weapon is authorized, see KRS 527.020.

Please proceed to Gate 1E or Gate 8 for the weapons check in per the exception policy.

Diaper Changing Stations

Diaper changing stations are located in the men’s and women’s restrooms.

Drinking Water Fountains

Drinking water fountains can be found throughout the inner and upper concourse levels of the stadium.

 

Drones

The University of Louisville Athletics prohibits the use of drones in or around all UofL athletic facilities and parking lots without written permission by both Athletics and the FAA.

Elevators

East Side- Available only to handicapped patrons, persons with private suites and the PNC Club.

West Side-Available only to persons with the tickets or credentials to enter the Angel’s Envy Bourbon Club, private suites, or press area.

North End Zone Expansion-Four (4) elevators will provide access to the Pepsi Club and the upper deck area.

Elevator 5 at Gate 8 will be limited to working members of the media, the coaching staffs five (5) minutes before the start of the game, the end of the first half, the beginning of the second half and after the conclusion of the game.

Emergency / Evacuation Procedures

Should dangerous lightning or some other condition require the evacuation of the stadium, remain calm, and follow the instructions of the Stadium Security and Ushering Personnel and the Public Address Announcements.

Those seated in the lower bowl sections 101-136 should walk down the aisles and exit onto the field area through the stairwells located at the bottom of the 100 level, and continue around the field to leave the stadium via the gates located on either side of the Schnellenberger Complex.

Suite holders seated in the field level suites 1 – 12 will exit out the back of their suites, turn right or left, and exit out the suite corridor where they will continue to leave the stadium via the gates located on either side of the Schnellenberger complex. Vehicles parked in the garage must remain in place and will not be allowed to exit the facility.

Guests seated in sections 201-236 should walk down the isles to the main concourse, turn left or right, proceed to the nearest unobstructed gate, and continue away from the stadium.

Guests seated in the PNC Club sections E1-E12 and in the Angel’s Envy Bourbon Club sections W1-W17 will utilize the exterior stairwells located on the north and south ends of the club areas or the stairs located at each elevator tower, then continuing on out the nearest unobstructed gate.

Guests visiting the Norton Healthcare Terrace will proceed down through the 200 level seating isles or down the stairs located on either side of the terrace and continue out the nearest unobstructed gate.

Patrons located in the suite level 1-33 and 40-62, along with press level guests and patrons in suites 70-83, will proceed out the exits located at each end of the suite floors and utilize the exterior stairwells located on the north and south ends of the club areas or the stairs located at each elevator tower.

Guests seated in section 137-147 and premium boxes 1-68 will proceed left or right to the NE and NW exit ramps or down the four (4) north exit stairs. Guests seated in the Pepsi Club N1-N9 & N20-N25 and sections 238-246 will proceed down the four (4) north exit stairs to the ground level, where they will continue to leave the stadium via the gates located on either side of the Schnellenberger complex.

Patrons on the UPS Flight Deck sections 301-312 will exit down using the multiple stairs and the south ramps located on the UPS Flight Deck concourse, continue out the nearest unobstructed gate away from the stadium. Elevators will not be in service during an evacuation. Stadium personnel will be available to assist guests with disabilities or mobility impairments. During an evacuation, all guests must completely depart the stadium and not remain on the premises. The public address system will provide additional instructions during an emergency.

Family / Assisted Restrooms

Anyone needing access to a private Family / Assisted Restroom can contact staff at the three (3) Customer Relations Booths located on the main concourse and receive the code that is used to open the door. Family / Assisted Restrooms are located near Sections 107, 112, 130 and 241.

Fan Assistance – Wheelchair Assistance inside Cardinal Stadium

Wheelchair assistance will be available for all University of Louisville home games for fans needing assistance to get from the stadium entry gates to the concourse/vomitory near where they are seated. Fans are able to connect with the nearest usher/security guard at every stadium gate and ask for assistance. Fan Assistance staff will arrive with a wheelchair and provide assistance to the fan in need. This service will be provided both before and after U of L football games. Fans just need to contact the stadium at 502.852.0083 prior to leaving for the Fan Assistance staff to return to meet the fan and provide a ride back to either the Accessible Shuttle Service golf carts at Gate 5 or the nearest stadium exit gate. Be advised, this staff will not leave the stadium. Fans that are in need of assistance to their vehicle in either the Sun Tan City Bronze or Planet Fitness parking lots will need to utilize the Accessible Shuttle Service golf carts located at Gate 5.

Field Access

Stadium guests are not permitted access to the playing field at any time during an event. Only guests with the proper credentials will be allowed on the field. Anyone entering the field without proper credentials is subject to removal from the stadium and/or arrest.

First Aid

First aid stations are located on the main concourse outside of Sections 102,112,126, 241 and on the UPS Flight Deck at the south end near section 312.

Gate Opening Times

For all University of Louisville Football games the gates will open one and a half hours (1 ½) prior to the scheduled time for kick-off. For all other events, gate opening times will vary and will be determined on a situational basis. All parking lots open three (3) hours prior to game time.

Handicapped Parking

For all University of Louisville home football games parking in handicapped spaces requires a valid permit with matching space number in an assigned lot. Any vehicle parked in an incorrect space is subject to removal. All handicapped spaces are reserved and not available to visitors at home football games. For other events vehicles displaying a valid handicapped credential may park in available handicapped parking spaces on a first come basis. Vehicles parked in a handicapped space without a valid permit will be removed at the owner’s expense.

Additional handicapped parking is available at the Floyd Street parking garage located at 2126 South Floyd Street. The Park and Ride Shuttle service will provide wheelchair accessible transport for handicapped fans from the garage to the stadium bus lane (located near Gate 3). The Park and Ride Shuttles run three (3) hrs before kick-off and up to two (2) hrs after the completion of the game. For example, for a 12:00 noon game, the Park and Ride Shuttles will start at 9:00 am.

L-Club Members

L-Club is located on main concourse near section 107.

Lactation Locations

A curtained area for mothers to breast feed their children is available within Customer Relations Booths located at Sections 108, 120 and 132.

Lost and Found Services

Lost and found is located at each of the Customer Relations Booths outside of Sections 108, 120, 132. If an item is found, please give it to an usher or turn it into the nearest Customer Relations booth. If an item is lost, check with one of the Customer Relations Booths in the stadium. After the game, all the lost and found items will be held in the Stadium Office, Room 507. To inquire about a lost item call the stadium at (502) 852-0083.

Lost Children

Separated children and parents should contact the nearest L&N Stadium employee or go to the nearest Customer Relations booth. (See Customer Relations for locations throughout the stadium).

Marketing, Sponsorship and Pamphlets

No unapproved marketing will be allowed on L&N Stadium property. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Unauthorized distribution of business cards, flyers, handouts of any kind, pamphlets or other types of literature used to promote business
  • Placing of any unapproved materials on car windshields
  • Chanting or shouting words associated with commercial advertising
  • Wearing clothing in a manner intended to advertise
  • Possessing banners, flags, signs or posters displaying words or pictures associated with commercial advertising
  • Product sampling of any kind
  • Soliciting donations from patrons in parking lot or stadium
  • Vending items of any kind

Guests found passing out literature or any written forms of unauthorized marketing will be asked to collect pieces of marketing handed out and dispose of them in the trash. If necessary, the guest or marketing company is subject to being liable to pay for any additional clean-up costs. Guests/companies repeatedly found marketing on L&N Stadium property will be cited for trespassing. Merchandise

Official University of Louisville merchandise is available for purchase at various kiosks throughout the concourses.

Parking

For home football games, parking lots A-N and S are assigned to season ticket holders.  Limited parking is available at the Student Activity Center and Floyd Street Parking garage.

For the 2023 season, parking lots will open 5 hours prior to kick-off.

Football season parking passes are not transferrable 

The parking of oversized vehicles outside of designated RV parking spaces at L&N Stadium are subject to review by University Louisville Athletic staff and may be required to exit the stadium parking lots if found to not fit within the designated parking space and/or inhibits others from being able to fully utilize their space. Questions regarding this parking policy please call the stadium at 502-852-0083.

For other events, parking availability varies depending on the event. L&N Stadium strives to provide general admissions parking at a reasonable rate for all non-football activities. Parking is free for the patrons of events held in the Angel’s Envy Bourbon Club, PNC, and Pepsi clubs. **Derby week events may have a parking fee, to be discussed with Sodexo during the planning stage.

L&N Stadium also hosts parking for the Kentucky Oaks and the Kentucky Derby. Parking for cars, RVs, and buses is available. Except for select events, No Overnight Parking is Allowed. For more information call (502) 852-0083 or visit the website.

Personal Messages / Video Board

All requests for personal messages on the video board must go through the U of L Athletics website. GoCards.com-Fan Center-Request Forms-Video Board Request. Request must be made in advance.

Pets / Animals

All pets / animals are not permitted in L&N Stadium. Only service animals (e.g., guide dogs) are allowed entrance into the stadium. Therapy pets are not allowed.

Press / Media Entrance

The press/media entrance is located on the west side of the stadium at Gate 8. Elevators 4 and 5 are designated for press/media usage. Media credentials are available for pickup at Gate 7 and are required for entry to the press/media area.

Private Events / Parties

Angel’s Envy Bourbon Club, Press Lounge, PNC Club and the Pepsi Club at L&N Stadium may be rented exclusively for events. Our facilities are capable of hosting a wide range of activities including weddings, wedding receptions, corporate functions, graduation parties, trade shows, and other occasions. These unique, elegant, and spacious areas at L&N Stadium can accommodate your every need. Book a space on our website or contact the Sodexo Catering representative for more information at (502) 852-2779. The stadium clubs do not permit general admission events.

Prohibited Items

The University of Louisville and University of Louisville Athletics are dedicated to providing a safe and secure environment in which to enjoy events. Police officers are stationed near each entrance gate and all persons entering the stadium are subject to search and questioning. Full cooperation with authorities is appreciated and it will speed the progression of the lines. Items not permitted into the stadium include, but are not limited to:

  • Firearms or weapons of any kind
  • Fireworks of any kind
  • Glass or plastic bottles, cans, coolers, containers, food, beverage of any kind.
  • Air horns, whistles, seat cushions with backs, artificial noise makers
  • Illegal drugs or chemicals
  • Laser pens & pointers
  • Strollers
  • Inflated Footballs or any other ball of any kind
  • Umbrellas Purses larger than a clutch, backpacks-see bag policy
  • Animals (service dogs are allowed)
  • Unapproved pamphlets, handouts, advertising items
  • Skateboards, roller blades/skates/shoes, hoverboards
  • Any unapproved flags or banners of any shape or size

Anyone with an item that does not pass security measures will be asked to either return the item to their vehicle or dispose of it before entering a U of L Athletic Facility. Medical and Diaper bags may be brought into an athletic facility but will be searched at the gate inspection area. Please be aware that prohibited items, policies and security parameters may be modified from event to event as security levels change. Re-entry Policy

L&N Stadium has a strict no re-entry policy. Any guest who leaves the stadium during an event will need a new ticket to re-enter the facility.

L&N Stadium provides various rental opportunities. Venues available for rent include but are not limited to:

The stadium manager will determine whether or not an event is qualified to have use of the stadium. Contact the stadium office for additional information or inquiries at (502) 852-0083.  For inquiries regarding the Club spaces or Press Lounge, please contact Sodexo at (502) 852-2779.

Restrooms

All the restrooms in L&N Stadium are fully accessible and have wheel chair accessible stalls.

Rideshare / Taxi

Rideshare (Uber/Lyft) drop off/pick up is located at Jim Patterson Baseball Stadium on 3rd St.  Taxi’s (see Taxi)

Seat Numbering System

In L&N Stadium, the Sections are numbered from the northeast corner of the stadium (Section 101, 201) and increase in a clockwise direction (ending with Sections 147, 248). Viewed from the field, seats are numbered from left to right, and rows are lettered from the bottom beginning with the letter “A”.

Angel’s Envy Bourbon Club seating, located at the southwest corner of the stadium, begins with Section W1 and increases in a clockwise direction ending with Section W17. PNC Club seating includes Section E1-E12. The Pepsi Club seating includes Sections N1-N9 & N20-N25.

The Adidas 3 Stripe zone seats are located in the front rows of sections 138-146 and 238-248.

Stadium suites are numbered as follows: East side are numbered S1-S33, West side are numbered S40-62, S70-72, & S80-83 and the Field level suites are numbered 1-12.

Smoking Policy

The use of tobacco products (i.e. smoking, chewing tobacco, etc.) along with electric cigarettes and vaporizers is strictly prohibited at L&N Stadium, as well as within 50 feet of an exterior gate or entrance. L&N Stadium in part of the University of Louisville tobacco free campus.

Strollers / Wheelchairs

L&N Stadium does not allow guests to bring strollers into the stadium.

Sustainability

L&N Stadium is proud to participate in recycling efforts in the stadium as well as our parking lots.

Fans will find parking staff passing out green bags in the parking lots surrounding the stadium for your assistance in recycling.  Please leave the green bag filled with your recyclables  in your parking spot and the cleaning crew will collect them and separate them from the general waste stream.

Inside the stadium, fans will find collection locations on all concourses that allow fans to separate their recyclables from organic waste and general trash.  Please work with us and select the proper collection bin for your items so that we can work together to improve our efforts and lessen our carbon footprint.

Tailgating

Tailgating is permitted in the parking lots designated for game day parking.  Tailgating is prohibited in the Floyd Street parking garage.  Parking lots open five (5) hours prior to kick off and no earlier than 7:00 am for early game times.  No kegs or party balls are permitted in tailgating areas at any time.  Bottles and open containers may not be carried around the parking lots.  All drinks should be placed in plastic/disposable cups and consumed at the tailgating location.  Fans are encouraged to barbeque and enjoy the game-day experience.  However, it is the responsibility of our fans to dispose of used charcoal and associated trash properly.  ALL BBQ grill must be attended at ALL times.  Open fire pit devices and fires built on the ground are prohibited.

Taxi

If you are in need of a Taxi after the game, fans will need to walk to Crittenden and Central Ave or Central and Third Street.

Texting

L&N Stadium has the capability to receive text messages from fans who want to report unruly fan behavior or any other issue without leaving their seat. Text “VILLE” with the issue and location to 69050. A stadium staff member will let you know that we have received your text message and will work to ensure the issue is being addressed

Tickets

Everyone over the age of two (2) years must have a ticket to enter the game. All tickets are now digital, please be prepared to have your tickets scanned on your phone or personal device.  Unauthorized ticket distribution or selling tickets on stadium grounds is prohibited. The University of Louisville does not authorize the selling of individual or season tickets for higher than face value. The University of Louisville Athletic Department reserves the right to revoke ticket privileges, including season ticket renewals of any customer who scalps tickets.

Ticket Office

Stadium ticket office is located at Gate 1A.  For 12 noon games, the box office will open at 9:00 am and remain open through half-time of the game.  For ticket information contact the ticket office at 502.852.5151.  On non-game days, the ticket office is located at the Student Activity Center on the 3rd floor.  The hours of operation are from 8:00 am-5:00 pm.  On gamedays, patrons will need to visit the ticket office at Gate 1A for all questions as phones are unable to be answered due to the volume of calls.

Water

When concession stands are open for events, free cups with ice are available to fans to access water from available water fountains.

Will Call

Will Call tickets are available at the ticket office at Gate 2.

Visiting Team Will Call is located at Gate 1A.

UofL Student Athletes Will call is located at Gate 1A.

High School Athletes and Coaches Will Call will be available at gate 1E.

UofL Football Team Will Call is located at gate 7A.

Will Call will open (2) two hours prior to the scheduled kick-off time and valid driver’s license and/or student ID is required to pick-up tickets.  For more information call the ticket office at 502.852.5151.
